William Koopers birth sotry

William Kooper made is grad entrance into the world on March 24th, yes him and his sister are exactly 2 years apart :) i was scheduled to be induced the next day (the 25th) because of how big he was measuring my Dr didn't want me to go past 40 weeks. Well Kooper had other plans and my water broke at 2 am on the 24th! I had rolled over in bed and felt a little gush of fluid, so I ran to the bathroom which was occupied by my brother. Him and my husband hadn’t even been to bed yet they were up playing video games together. I yelled for him to get out of the bathroom and to wake up our mom and to get Chris. My mom calmed me down and I called the hospital,  I was so unsure if it was my water had really broke or if I had peed my pants because after the small guess I was not leaking anything else. The nurse told me if I filled a pad in one hour then to come in, well we lived 45 minutes away from the hospital my doctor delivered at so I ultimately decided that it really was my water so me and Chris headed for the hospital.  After getting there I was in triage for what felt like forever, they ran like 5 tests to make sure my water had really broke, you would think after the first once coming back positive they would of stopped there but no they checked like 4 more times. When I finally got to a room they started the Pitocin right away because I was not having contractions, at all. It was not too long before I hit a 4 and I got my epidural! Unfortunately just like with Kimber it only worked on my left side so the anesthesiologist had to come and adjust it in my back then finally I was numb on both sides. Chris was awesome and was by my side the whole time. After a long day of uneventful labor Kooper was born at 8:21 pm, I had him out in 3 contractions and I didn't rip or have to be cut! He was 9 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches!
Come to find out the next day when he was not keeping anything down that he swallowed some blood when he was born because he came out face up so the poor guy had to have his stomach pumped but after that he started eating like a champ!!
