I was not planning on posting this today but I had a ton of
friends on Facebook like my photo so I decided to go ahead and post! I don’t have
any photos from while I was making them but its super easy, made in the crockpot
and s0o very yummy!
Ok so first things first, I feel the base of a good BBQ is
the rub you use! You can make your own and I do most times but the other half
of the time I use this
It is delicious, it’s pretty expensive on amazon, I don’t pay
that much when I buy it at the store. But it sure doses make for top notch BBQ!
Ingredients
Boneless country style
ribs
Dry rub
Favorite BBQ sauce
And that’s it, for a
lot of things no need to go over the top with ingredients
Sometimes it’s better to fallow the motto keep
it simple stupid! Sprinkle the dry rub all over your ribs, then rub it in,
throw those bad boys into the crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours! That’s it,
no need to add liquid or anything! Now you can pull them right out of the
crockpot slap some bbq sauce on them and eat as is! But to take it up a notch,
put them on a baking sheet, slather them with sauce and broil them on high for
just a few minutes!
Mmm mmmm mmmmm finger
licking good!!
For the asparagus I just
wrapped those suckers and baked them in the oven at 400 for 25-30 minutes! I see
other recipes where they add a bunch of stuff and poor it over them but I honestly
feel the bacon and the asparagus is the perfect flavor combo on its own!
