mississippi roast






I have been seeing this recipe all over pinterest, and I must admit I was super hesitant at first. Pepperchines with a roast? Who in their right mind would do that? But let me tell you, this roast did not disappoint, in fact I totally ditched my old way of fixing roasts and this is my go to now!

The pepperchines add just a little bit of a kick, but I wouldn’t even call it a kick it’s not spicy at all, in fact my daughter who likes no spice at all loves this roast!

 what you need

     1 chuck roast (4-5lbs)
1 packet ranch dressing/dip mix
1 packet au jus
1 stick butter 5
pepperoncini peppers

you just pile everything into your crockpot and let it go for 8-10 hours on low!
then when its done it should look like this!


look at that yumminess you can serve it just like this but I like to slice it and throw it back in the juices on the warm setting for another hour mmmm it just melts in your mouth!
