oven dogs

Three years ago back when pinterest was still new, this was one of the first things I pinned.  Oven dogs, and Oh my gosh are they delicious! They have been a regular menu item in our house since I pinned them all those years ago. Crunchy outside, warm oohy gooey inside, and topped with cheese, that must be eaten with a fork! they are simply the perfect chili dog!

 

What you need:

8 hot dogs

Package of buns

2 cans chili

Real mayonnaise

Mustard

Shredded cheese

½ onion diced

Tin foil 

First smear some mayo in the buns, add a line of mustard and then add the hotdogs

Next add the chili, no need to be neat just pile it on! We prefer beanless but use what you like! The original recipe only called for one can but we like them better with more!

Last top with cheese and onions (totally forgot to take a picture of this oops), cover with foil and bake at 350 for 45 mins!!

MMMMM  just look at how yummy that looks!!
